1. Do you cater weddings, banquets, reunions, and other formal events?
Yes, though we specialize in boxed lunches, we offer a complete catering menu to suit your event via our sister company, Signatures Catering and Events. Email us at , give us call at (317) 983-3663, or check out our website at signaturescateringandevents.com.
2. Where are you located?
We have a professional, board of health certified kitchen in Shelbyville, IN. We do not have a storefront for customers to pick-up orders or eat in. All orders placed are delivered to your venue, home, or workplace.
3. How long have you been in business?
YBC (Your Box Catering) began in June of 2015.
4. Can I order for just myself?
If you live within 10 miles of our kitchen (most of Shelbyille, IN) there is no minimum order for delivery. So yes, you can order a box just for you at no additional charge other than the tax and delivery fee.
5. When should I place my order?
At the earliest, you can place your order 3 weeks in advance or at the latest, by 4:00 PM the day prior to your delivery.
6. What time will my lunch be delivered?
One of the unique aspects of YBC is that you can pick your lunch delivery time! This option is available at check out. We just ask that you allow us a 10-minute window before or after your selected time to arrive.
7. What is your refund policy?
We refund orders on a case by case basis. We promise to do our best to be fair with meeting the needs of our business and our clients.
8. Do you deliver outside of Shelbyville, IN?
Yes, we now deliver to most of Central Indiana if the minimum order requirement is met for your location. Place your order online and enter your address to find out your minimum requirements or give us a call!
9. If I have a last minute order, can your business accommodate?
Typically we can only fulfill orders placed by 4:00 PM the day prior. Online ordering is closed at 4:00 PM daily but only for orders on the following day.
If you want to place an order for the next day and it is after 4:00 PM, email us at email@example.com with the subject “add-on request”, tell us your order, and we will get back to you promptly.
10. If I have a few unaccounted for guests coming to lunch can I add on to my order?
Yes, in most cases we are able to accommodate add-on orders to a pre-existing order if we know about the add-on no later than 8:00 AM on the day of your order.
